David Walliams hosts 'The Spy Who Loved Me' screening (photo)

29-Aug-2012 • Bond News

The press were in attendance at yesterday's BFI Southbank screening of the 10th James Bond adventure, starring Sir Roger Moore.

Walliams, a life long Bond fan, arrived at the event with wife Lara Stone. Previously the comedian hosted a 2006 TV special "My Life With James Bond". Earlier this year he tweeted from the set of "Skyfall", where he was able to witness the capture of a scene for the 2012 Bond adventure.

He explained to the crowd, and the assembled members of the press, that selecting his Bond film was easy - it was "The Spy Who Loved Me", the first big budget adventure with Cubby Broccoli as solo producer after his partner, Harry Saltzman, bowed out of the production company.
