Confirmed: 'Skyfall' World Premiere on October 23rd at Royal Albert Hall

06-Sep-2012 • Skyfall

The world premiere of the 23rd James Bond film, "Skyfall", will be held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Tuesday 23rd October 2012.

The film opens nationwide in the UK three days later on Friday 26th October 2012, although there will be a host of charity and midnight screenings before then.

Clarence House confirmed via Twitter the attendance of The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall at the event which also marks the 50th anniversary of the 007 film franchise.

The only other time a Bond premiere has been held at the Royal Albert Hall was for the 40th anniversary movie "Die Another Day" that was attended by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 2002. Last time around, £1m was spent on the venue.
