MPAA release initial rating information for 'Skyfall'

27-Sep-2012 • Skyfall

The Motion Pictures Association of America, the US equivalent of the BBFC ratings board but who operate without a detailed charter and often leave directors at the whim of a select few panelists, have released initial ratings information for the new James Bond film "Skyfall".

"Skyfall" is rated PG-13 for "intense violent sequences throughout, some sexuality, language and smoking."

The film is expected to achieve a 12A certificate in the UK when the BBFC judges the final cut.
