'Skyfall' closes in on 'Avatar' for all-time highest grossing UK film

The 23rd James Bond film "Skyfall" is set to overtake James Cameron's "Avatar" for the prestigious spot at the top of the all-time highest grossing films at the UK box-office chart.

"Skyfall" added another £3,809,893 over its fifth 3 day box-office weekend (23-25th November) on 550 screens and will likely surpass "Avatar" by Saturday night.

It is expected that "Skyfall" will top £100m in the UK by the end of the year.
