Paul Epworth clears up rumour about Adele's title song taking 10 minutes to record

19-Dec-2012 • Skyfall

Earlier in the month Epworth, co-writer of the "Skyfall" theme, spoke to the media about his track.

The quote the media headlined their stories with was "Within 10 minutes, she put down most of the vocals", which Epworth says was taken out of context.

"Ok ok. Can I clarify this," the producer and songwriter tweeted. "Adele didn't record her final skyfall vocal in 10 minutes. We cut the first draft of the verse and chorus. It took us a while to hone the track into the end result. Don't you just love it when things are taken out of context."
