Daniel Craig reportedly earns $1m for Land Rover promotion

The US tabloids are balking at the purported earnings of 007 star Daniel Craig, who made a quick appearance at the New York Motor Show in association with Land Rover.

Craig was first seen in a short video clip, driving the new vehicle before appearing with the car in a quick photo-op at the Skylight at Moynihan Station.

The price for his appearance is understood to be a round, and generous, $1m.

"We won’t comment on our relationship with Mr. Craig beyond confirming that Land Rover supports the charity S.A.F.E., of which the actor is a patron, and will continue its charitable efforts with a vehicle donation later this year," Land Rover people told the NY Post

S.A.F.E. fights the spread of HIV/AIDS in Uganda, amongst other nations.
