Tabloids finally apologise to Sir Roger Moore for deprecating headlines

comments, has the advantage of earning Moore damages from the press agency, but also takes substantially longer to process such a case.
"We now accept that Sir Roger did not give an interview to our reporter and did not make the comments that were reported in the headline," read the paper's statement.
