Lincolnshire locals fail to spot Daniel Craig in village pub

James Bond star Daniel Craig is enjoying some normal village life in Lincolnshire. The 007 actor was having a couple of drinks in The Wheatsheaf pub, in Louth, but some of his fellow revelers didn't notice they had a world famous actor amongst them.

One punter told the local newspaper, "Daniel came in for a quiet drink, but I didn't recognise him because I haven't seen any of his films. So it's unfortunate I didn't know who he was, otherwise I would have taken more notice!"

Landlady Linda Proctor confirmed Craig had been in but said her staff did not want to bother him and left him to enjoy his drink.

Another regular who was a fan missed out. "I am gutted I wasn't there when Daniel was. I am such a big fan and it is typical it was one of the few nights I was out of town."

Craig is rumoured to be buying a large estate in the area.
