Pierce Brosnan to star in revenge thriller 'I.T.' next year

07-Oct-2013 • Actor News

Former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan has signed up to play the lead role a new revenge thriller, 'I.T.', to be directed by Stefano Sollima.

Brosnan's role is that of a book publisher who finds himself up against a tech savvy but disgruntled young I.T. consultant who uses his skills to threaten the author's family and livelihood.

I.T. will be produced by David T. Friendly, Craig Flores, Nicolas Chartier and Beau St. Clair (who is Brosnan's producing partner in Irish DreamTime). The script is written by Dan Kay, based on an idea by Friendly through his Friendly Films banner.

They are now casting the antagonist role, and aiming for a 2014 start date. The movie is being produced under Voltage, which most recently backed the Joseph Gordon-Levitt-directed Don Jon.
