Daniel Craig withdraws from the production of courtroom drama 'The Whole Truth'

15-Apr-2014 • Actor News

Daniel Craig was slated to appear opposite Renee Zellweger in a new courtroom drama, "The Whole Truth". Back in February this year it was announced that the James Bond 007 star was to appear in this small-budget Atlas Entertainment picture.

Slated to go into production this spring, without a leading man, "The Whole Truth" has reportedly been put on hold. The news first broke via the Boston Globe last week, and Craig apparently left "abruptly" over the weekend.

No explanation was given for why the star had departed the picture, nor who the sources close to the production were.

Daniel Craig is scheduled to start shooting Bond 24 later this year.

Thanks to Stuart for the alert.
