Sir Sean Connery set to play master bank robber in `Josiah`s Canon`

Sir Sean Connery is being lined up to star in new 20th Century Fox project Josiah's Canon.

The former Bond star is apparently in talks to take the lead in the movie which will be directed by Red Dragon's Brett Ratner.

Penned by Jeff King, the thriller concentrates on a Holocaust survivor who heads up the world's premier team of bank robbers. However, he faces a challenge when he comes up with a plan to empty the vaults of an impenetrable bank in Switzerland which is filled with Jewish treasures deposited prior to WW2.

Filming on the project could start as early as the autumn with New York and Europe the most likely locations.
