Provisional running time and UK certificate of DAD revealed

17-Sep-2002 • Die Another Day

20th Century Fox has confirmed that the running time of "Die Another Day" is about 120 minutes long, running to 122 minutes with credits.

The British Board of Film Classification has given a provisional cut of "Die Another Day" a 12-A certificate. This means the USA are likely to be getting a PG-13 Bond once again. Only a few special effects were missing from the cut that was shown to the censors.

MI6 Forums member `White Knight` tells us that when a film is submitted for use as The Royal Film Performance, palace officials usually have to vet the film. A rough copy of DAD has gone through this process already. A final print will be available for media screenings around the end of October, beginning of November.

Thanks to `White Knight` for the news.
