James Bond`s Walther PPK from `Licence To Kill` sells for $6,900

More than $1.1 million worth of movie and TV memorabilia including the Ferrari driven by Tom Selleck in the hit TV series Magnum P.I. and K.I.T.T., the Pontiac Trans AM used by David Hasselhoff in Knight Rider and 475 other famed entertainment items -- were auctioned off today.

James Bond was represented at the auction by his Walther PPK as used in the 1989 film "Licence To Kill".

The famous pistol sold for an impressive $6,900.

Joseph Maddalena's, who owns the "Profiles in History" acution said, "The passion to own and collect Hollywood film and television memorabilia is a worldwide phenomenon that gets bigger and bigger every year. Ownership of a favorite piece seems to contribute to a person's happiness as they reminisce the past."
