Bidding for a day on the James Bond 21 set rises to £3200

Bids are hotting up for an exclusive day on the set of the 21st James Bond film.

St James's Piccadilly church are running a silent auction over six weeks to raise £2.3M to complete a major renovation of its famous Christopher Wren building, and a day with 007 is one of the many lots on offer.

The current bid in the open auction for a day on the set of Bond 21 stands at £3,200 ($5,700 US).

The lot is described as a "day on the set of the next James Bond film Day for four on set of next 007 film, tour of set, meals. If all filming is abroad, alternative arrangements will apply."

This is the last week of bidding on the silent auction. All bids must be in by Thursday 26th August 2004 at 10:00 GMT.
