`GoldenEye: Rogue Agent` fails to make USA`s top 50 selling games chart during December

26-Jan-2005 • Gaming

Sales of the latest game set in the James Bond universe, "GoldenEye: Rogue Agent", have failed to make the top 50 in the USA's December 2004 games sales chart.

The figures, announced this week, show that the PlayStation 2 version of the game ranked #54 with sales of 159,789 units during December 2004. The Xbox version ranked #97 with 116,494 units, with the GameCube version failing to make the top 100 with only 83,948 units sold in the month.

"Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" romped home with the #1 slot selling 1,553,930 copies on the PS2 - almost ten times the amount that GRA sold.

"James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing", released way back in February 2004, outsold "GoldenEye: Rogue Agent" on the PS2 by two-to-one in November.

Thanks to `David` for the alert.
