Sex scenes in Die Another Day had to be toned down

Sky News have reported on the much expected toning down of the raunchy sex scenes in Die Another Day:

New Bond girl Rosamund Pike said after filming with Pierce Brosnan: "We had pretty fantastic sex."

Director Lee Tamahori had called the scenes "the sexiest ever filmed".

But movie producers decided much of the footage was too hot for PG-rated Die Another Day, which opens next week.

Pike, who plays, plays MI6 agent and Olympic fencing champion Miranda Frost, said "I got to be very physical in the role. It should change some perceptions of me."
