Press reheat rumours of Daniel Craig pushing Sienna Miller for Bond girl role

04-Jan-2006 • Casino Royale

MEDIA RUMOUR
Rumours of Sienna Miller being touted for the role of Vesper in the forthcoming James Bond film "Casino Royale" are being reheated by the press.

The Daily Mail are now claiming that new 007 Daniel Craig is putting pressure on producers to cast the actress who co-starred with him in "Layer Cake", despite Sienna Miller publicly distancing herself from the possibility last month.

According to the paper, Craig "has insisted Sienna, his sultry co-star in Layer Cake, is perfect for the role of Vesper Lynd in Casino Royale which stars filming next month.

A source revealed: "He feels they've got great on-screen chemistry and is convinced that although she is not a huge international name she'd be the perfect Bond girl."

Back in October, Law, who has admitted sleeping with his child's nanny, was furious to learn Sienna had had a two-week fling with Craig. Law is said to have thrown Sienna out of his £4million home.

Last month Sienna said she wouldn't be a Bond girl but qualified that by adding: "I don't know if Daniel Craig would talk to the producers about it."
