Charlie Higson nominated for 2005 Edgar Awards with Young James Bond - SilverFin

The Mystery Writers of America announced there nominations for the 2005 Edgar Awards, which includes Charlie Higson's first outing "Silverfin" for Best Young Adult, designated for hardbound or paperback novels for readers of Grades 8 - 12. Age 12 -18.

Silverfin was published on March 3, 2005 by Puffin in the UK and April 27th, 2005 by Hyperion in the US.

Higson's second Young Bond novel, Blood Fever, will hit shelves in the United States in June, and become eligible for the 2006 award at its time of release.

The Edgar Awards will be presented to the winners at a 60th Gala Banquet, April 27, 2006 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, New York City.
