Omega remove De Ville model from James Bond line-up, Planet Ocean now tipped for 007

08-Feb-2006 • Casino Royale

Following last week's news story that Omega had the De Ville model on their James Bond collection page - fueling speculation that it would appear in the next 007 film Casino Royale - the company has now pulled the model from the Bond advertisments.

Forum member and watch guru `delldeaton` got to the bottom of the matter after lengthy communications with Omega PR reps.

As MI6 revealed in the first Casino Royale Production Diary, back in December last year, the Omega Planet Ocean was tipped to be Daniel Craig's new watch in the forthcoming film.

Other commentators are now echoing this theory following the removal of the De Ville model from the 007 PR page on Omega's website and the appearence of a watch - looking like a Planet Ocean - on the wrist of Craig in recent set photographs.
