Olivia Wilde linked to vacant Bond Girl role

Olivia Wilde is the latest actress to be linked to the vacant role of Vesper Lynd in the forthcoming James Bond film Casino Royale.

According to Variety, Wilde is alongside Eva Green in the final running for the part.



Olivia Wilde was born in New York City on 10th March 1984, and has appeared in such films as The "Girl Next Door" and A"lpha Dog". Born Olivia Cockburn, she is the daughter of journalist Andrew Cockburn and the granddaughter of writer Claud Cockburn. She attended Phillips Academy as well as the Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. Wilde is the wife of Tao Ruspoli, an Italian American documentary filmmaker, photographer and flamenco guitar player. She is also well known for her recurring appearances on "The O.C." as Alex. She was named #61 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2005 list.
