01-Dec-2002 • Die Another Day

Bond and Potter are neck and neck in the battle to be crowned king of the box office in the USA.

"Die Another Day" toppled Harry Potter from his number one spot when the film was released on 22nd November, and a week later the two are slugging it out over the Thanks Giving holiday.

Experts predicted Harry Potter would go back to the top with the holiday movie goers, but Bond has proved he can go the distance in his second week.

The weekend takings are about to come in, but Bond has currently has the edge:

Takings from Monday 25th November 2002 to Friday 29th November 2002

Die Another Day - $37,990,000
