Alexander Witt is Casino Royale 2nd unit director

13-Mar-2006 • Casino Royale

Alexander Witt has been confirmed by ComingSoon as the second unit director of "Casino Royale".

Born in Santiago, Chile in 1952, Witt is a newcomer to the Bond franchise - not having worked on a 007 film before. He is filling the role held in recent films by the legendary action arranger Vic Armstrong.

Witt's credits as a second unit director include "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", "Daredevil", "xXx", "Black Hawk Down", "Gladiator", and "The Hunt for Red October" - which starred the original cinematic 007, Sir Sean Connery.
