Casino Royale teaser trailer not scored by composer David Arnold

13-May-2006 • Casino Royale

Almost every James Bond fan will have seen the new "Casino Royale" teaser trailer by now, but how many will have listened closely?

Towards the end of the trailer is a new arrangement of the famous James Bond theme.

David Arnold, who is composing the score for the new film, was asked on his official website whether the music in trailer was his work.

Arnold responded, "The music in the trailer was provided by the trailer company. I am currently in the last 4 to 5 weeks of Amazing Grace with Michael Apted. I have been in Senegal recording my end title song with Youssou Ndour (who also appers in the movie) before returning to finish writing and recording the
score".

Given his reply, Arnold will start work on "Casino Royale" in late June.

Thanks to `Tony` for the alert.
