Spy shots of new Aston Martin DBS on the track

03-Jul-2006 • Casino Royale

Aston Martin recently unveiled the company's latest movie star, the DBS. The DBS will be 007's next supercar and will be driven by Daniel Craig in the movie Casino Royale which will appear in theaters in November of this year.

While Bond's fiction vehicle will be unique just for the movie, the sportscar maker will build some 300 road versions. Pictured here during high-speed testing at the Nürburgring is the consumer version, based on an uprated version of the DB9. The DBS gets a wider track and lower ground clearance, bold scoops and air intakes in the front, and according to rumors, the V-12 engine's performance has been boosted from 450 hp to more than 500 hp. Want to be like Bond? Start saving for the likely price tag of $250,000.
