Heineken reveal advertising campaign for Casino Royale

29-Sep-2006 • Casino Royale

MI6 first reported way back in March that brewery Heineken were hooking up with 007 again.

Six months on, Heineken have finalised their promotional material for the upcoming James Bond film Casino Royale. The advertising will feature the new Bond girl Eva Green as Vesper Lynd.

A Dutch fansite has posted online a selection of images from the campaign, including Heineken branding using the infamous 007 logo.

Heineken has long had an association with the 007 franchise and is a sponsor of the latest movie, Casino Royale. The film, scheduled for release in the UK on 17 November, introduces new James Bond actor Daniel Craig, who replaces Pierce Brosnan.

Previous Heineken involvement began with product placement in the film Tomorrow Never Dies in 1997. Heineken ran advertising alongside the film featuring the now deceased actor Desmond Llewelyn, who played inventor Q in the franchise. The print campaign carried the strapline “Some things should be shaken, not stirred.”
