Die Another Day nominated in two categories at the 1st Visual Effects Awards

The Visual Effects Society have announced the nominations for the The Visual Effects Awards 2002.

The 1st Annual VES Awards will be held on February 19th 2003. It will honor excellence for visual effects in feature films, television, commercials and music videos. The Awards will be a black tie dinner event at the Ahmanson Ballroom in the Skirball Cultural Center.

"Die Another Day", which featured the most special effects shots of the Bond series so far - 600 compared to "The World In Not Enough"`s 150 effects - has been nominated for two categories:
