French media tout false rumour Bond 22 title is `The Emerald Sphere`

Rumours are circulating around the French media that the title of the 22nd James Bond film could be "La sphère d'émeraude" - which translates to "The Emerald Sphere".

But all is not lost, as the news piece on AlloCine also cites Gemma Arterton as the "lead Bond girl" and "The Killers" as the title theme artists - two claims which are untrue.

MI6 Rumour Rating: Pure fiction, as it's simply the title that the Fleming short story "The Property of a Lady" is published under in France.
