Foreign title translations of `Quantum of Solace` for Italy and Canada

10-Mar-2008 • Quantum Of Solace

When "Quantum of Solace" was announced as the title of the 22nd James Bond film earlier this year, the first thought for many was to question what it meant... But for 007 fans around the world, the mystery was what the title would be translated to in their local language.

The first two answers appear to be settled today.

According to Sony Pictures Italia, the title will be simply "007 Quantum" in Italy.

Over in Canada, the French translation is reported to be "Source De Réconfort". Despite the switch in language, the logo with the 007 still works out.

The French-Canadian variation is yet to be officially confirmed, but even if "Source De Réconfort" is accurate, this may not be the title selected for the French release.

Thanks to `Oscar` for the alert.
