BBC video report online from the `Quantum of Solace` location filming

20-Mar-2008 • Quantum Of Solace

BBC One's Breakfast programme broadcast footage on Wednesday of the "Quantum of Solace" cast and crew on location in Panama City and the Californian desert.

The desert scenes were shot in such a remote location that three helicopter trips had to be made every time equipment and crew had to be moved.

An old ruin in Panama City is shown before and after it was transformed into a key party scene featuring Ukrainian former model Olga Kurylenko playing Bond girl Camille.

The Panama scenes also involve British Bond girl Gemma Arterton, who plays MI6 Agent Fields.

"It was great working on the streets of Panama because you get a sense of what the real Panama City's like," she said. "They've got so much life and character to them."
