Tabloids run sound bites from Daniel Craig, filming in Panama

Contact Music starts off the tabloid Bond coverage today with a sound bite from Daniel Craig on the filming of "Quantum of Solace". Despite this being passed off as new information, Craig actually gave the quote in a video interview with Extra on the day the title was announced.

"Daniel Craig knows the upcoming film will be a hit with fans thanks to its hard-hitting fight sequences - and has the aches and bruises to prove it. The 40-year-old says, "I can only gauge it (the film's success) by how much pain I'm in, and I think we're doing pretty good. They've (the stunts) started to hurt."

The Sun follows up with a brief unconfirmed report from the location shooting. According to the paper, "a man was arrested trying to nick headlamps off Daniel Craig's Toyota 4x4 while he recorded Quantum of Solace in Panama, central America."
