Online video report from `Quantum of Solace` filming in Austria

12-May-2008 • Quantum Of Solace

Daniel Craig has said he is getting used to playing James Bond, and being typecast for the role does not bother him.

Film-makers have given the media a sneak behind-the-scenes peek of the new film, Quantum of Solace at Lake Constance in Austria, where cast and crew are shooting one of the most important scenes.

He said: "I wanted to take what I knew of him, what I understood about the character, what I understood about the films and just have a go at making the most fun and watchable thing that I could.

"There was never a sort of grand scheme to sort of grab it for myself. It was just to make the best of it."

More than 1,300 extras in black tie and evening dresses were hired for a scene where Bond climbs the stairs of the 7,000 seat stage on the banks of Lake Constance in search of Mr Green who hides within the audience.
