New `Quantum of Solace` footage to debut on ITV1, Tuesday night

On Tuesday 9th September ITV1’s "National Movie Awards" will unveil a global exclusive with the first broadcast of preview footage from James Bond’s 22nd adventure "Quantum of Solace".

MI6 Note: This is expected to be the new full-length theatrical trailer for the film, rather than 'preview footage'

This exciting debut will form part of the evening’s broadcast and will be the first worldwide opportunity to see footage from one of the year’s most hotly anticipated cinematic releases.

Playing at over two minutes in length, the preview is action packed with the latest offerings from Daniel Craig’s iconic Bond and gives fans the unique opportunity to see Camille (Olga Kurylenko) Bond’s unlikely ally and sinister Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) in action. This dramatic and explosive footage is sure to delight fans and viewers with a taster of what is to come when Quantum of Solace is released nationwide on 31st October.

The National Movie Awards 2008 will see a fantastic array of stars attend both as nominees and award presenters including NICOLE KIDMAN, MERYL STREEP, SAMUEL L JACKSON and EMMA WATSON.

The awards, which are the only film awards to be voted for by the public and include categories for Best Musical, Best Male Performance and Best Film with great acting talent such as Christian Bale, Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp, Pierce Brosnan and Will Smith all being nominated.

The National Movie Awards are made by Indigo Television for ITV1. They will take place on Monday 8th September at London’s Royal Festival Hall and will be broadcast on Tuesday 9th September on ITV1 at 8pm.
