DAD wins "Best overall stunt by a stunt woman" at Taurus World Stunt Awards 2003

The Taurus World Stunt Awards 2003 were held at Paramount Studios in Hollywood yesterday (June 1st). Despite racking up an impressive 6 nominations from the 8 possible categories, "Die Another Day" only scooped the "Best Overall Stunt By A Stunt Woman" award.

The work by Nikki Berwick, Jamie Blake and Amanda Foster, was the 9/5 favourite to win the category. The stunt women faught onboard the Antonov during the climax of the film, and used multiple swords and weapons, as well as acrobatic and martial arts moves.

Bond spoof `xXx` starring Vin Diesel won the most awards, taking home 3 of the gongs.

The other winners included "The Bourne Identity" for "Best Work With A Vehicle", and "Minority Report" for "Best High Work".

Hosted by Dennis Hopper, will show will be broadcast on Monday, June 9th, 2003 on USA Network at 8:00 pm EDT/PDT. Celebrities presenting Taurus World Stunt Awards will include Jennifer Garner, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carrie-Anne Moss, Vince Vaughn, Michelle Rodriguez, David Arquette, Kelly Hu and many others.
