`Quantum` organisation to come back in future 007 adventures

Ever since the title of the new James Bond flick, Quantum of Solace, was unveiled in January, some people have been scratching their heads trying to determine just what the heck the puzzling moniker means - reports ReelzChannel.

As it turns out, "Quantum" is name of the shadowy terrorist organization alluded to -- but never identified -- in 2006's Casino Royale. Quantum features much more prominently in the storyline of the latest film, which picks up just one hour after its predecessor.

Whether Quantum will be the new SPECTRE is unclear at this point, as work on the next 007 script has yet to begin. But can fans expect Quantum to appear in some capacity in future chapters of the franchise? "That's the plan," Quantum of Solace producer Barbara Broccoli told the site yesterday.
