31-Jan-2009 • Young Bond

Considered be the "Oscars" of the literary trade, The 20th annual Galaxy British Book Awards will take place at the Grosevnor House, Park Lane, London on the evening of Friday 3rd April 2009

Richard & Judy have selected 20 of their favourite Children's books across five categories and they are inviting all children to vote on WHSmith.co.uk for the one that they think is the very best.

The book that has the most votes will win the Children's Book of the Year Award 2009 which will be announced in April.

WH Smith invites fans to take part in the voting process - all you have to do is vote for your favourite book from those nominated. It's as simple as that!

Fans can vote until 20th February when the winners in each age group are narrowed down to a shortlist.

Voting for the second round will conclude on the 27th of March, just prior to the winners being announced at the awards event.

Charlie Higson's final Young Bond adventure is included in the "Fluent Readers (12 + Years)" category.
