James Bond on the big screen in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, USA

18-Mar-2010 • Event

Starting Friday, moviegoers can get “shaken not stirred” during a James Bond movie series at the Historic State Theater in Elizabethtown, KY, USA.

The series begins with a fan favorite of the Bond series, “Goldfinger” (1964), staring Sean Connery.

The following weekend “The Man with the Golden Gun” (1974), starring Roger Moore, will be showing at the State.

If you need to get a dose of “Bond, James Bond” then the State will have the right elixir to catch two great Bond adventures.

Before the film begins Friday, local historian Paul Urbahns will be on hand to discuss the gold vault and portions of the film shot in the area, Heritage Council Executive Director Dana Beth Lyddan said.

“Goldfinger” is showing at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. “The Man with the Golden Gun” is showing at 8 p.m. March 26-27. Tickets are $5. For more information contact (270) 234-8258 or visit the website http://historicstatetheater.org
