Bond 23 scribe Peter Morgan lands new BBC project

18-May-2010 • Skyfall

During the Cannes Film Festival this week, BBC Films revealed a raft of new projects and partnerships.

BBC Films’ creative director Christine Langan confirmed that David Linde’s new company Lava Bear is partnering with BBC Films on Peter Morgan’s new project £6 million Three Sixty; a multi-stranded tale of love and sexual obsession inspired by Arthur Schnitzler’s 1900 play, La Ronde.

Morgan recently working on the script of the 23rd James Bond film, before would-be-director Sam Mendes was brought on board. It is understood that Morgan completed his work on the screenplay in October last year.

Just before pre-production was officially put on hold, it was reported that Patrick Marber was taking over Bond 23 script duties.
