Dodge Grand Caravan advert uses 'Quantum of Solace' music, movie elements

26-May-2010 • Bond News

A new television commercial for the Dodge Grand Caravan has borrowed from James Bond in more ways than one.

Clearly themed around the most recent 007 adventure, "Quantum of Solace", the TV spot sees the black vehicle speeding through the desert, just like the final scenes of the movie - complete with a Dominic Greene lookalike squirming in the back seat.

Fans listening closely may also notice that the commercial's score uses David Arnold's composition "Have You Every Killed Anyone?" from the film's official soundtrack.

The 007 composer confirmed to MI6 he was not involved in the commercial, and it was a surprise to him!
