Nintendo DS and Bond game developer n-Space reportedly shuts it doors

09-Oct-2010 • Gaming

Back in August, Orlando, FL game developer n-Space laid off 25 employees due to “momentary reduced demand.” However, it seems like today was the last nail in the studios coffin. Sources close to GameBlurb have indicated that the company has officially laid off the remaining crew and are essentially closing shop.

n-Space were developing the Nintendo DS versions of the upcoming James Bond licence games "GoldenEye" and "Blood Stone" for publisher Activision.

n-Space has been around for 15 years and was best known for their title Geist on the Nintendo GameCube. The studios last shipped games will be Tron: Evolution Battle Grids for the Nintendo Wii and Tron: Evolution for the Nintendo DS.

There is no official statement from n-Space at the time of writing, aside from the company's Facebook status stating "down but not out". Activision were sought for comment. It is unclear whether or not this news affects the release of the two 007 titles next month.
