Bond girl Denise Richards to pen her memoirs

10-Oct-2010 • Actor News

Denise Richards's life might be complicated , but she's hoping to make it easy for others to be inspired by her journey from small town girl to Hollywood fixture - reports People Magazine.

The actress, who starred as Dr Christmas Jones in the 1999 James Bond film "The World Is Not Enough", has signed a deal with Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster, to publish a memoir about her life after coming to Hollywood – including her marriage to and divorce from Charlie Sheen.

"I wanted to write a heartfelt, honest book that would be a source of hope for others going through difficult times," says Richards, who filed for divorce from Sheen while she was pregnant with their second child.

In the tome, Richards, 39, will share her own share ups and downs following her tumultuous split from Sheen and her life as a single mother to their daughters Sam, 6, and Lola, 5.

The actress starred for two seasons in E!'s reality series, Denise Richards: It's Complicated and will next be seen in the film, Mother's Little Helpers.

Her currently untitled memoir is scheduled to hit bookstores in July 2011.
