Sean Connery 'Highlander' videogame cancelled

Remember when James Bond actor Sean Connery starred as an immortal long-haired swordsman in the 1986 movie "Highlander"?

Did you know there was a game coming out based on it? Well forget it, it’s not coming out anymore.

After being in development for over five years, Square Enix gave the official cancellation notice today - reports Blast Magazine.

No official reason was given for the game’s cancellation.

Connery last appeared in the digital domain in his most famous role - 007 - in EA's adaptation of "From Russia With Love" in 2005.
