Dame Judi Dench reveals Bond 23 filming to start in November this year
Yesterday, trade press reports claimed Ralph Fiennes was linked to a role
in the 23rd James Bond film
and his filming was scheduled for December this year. Today, Dame Judi Dench has revealed that shooting is planned to start even earlier.
Dame Judi revealed the start date for filming during a visit last week to Hever Castle in Kent, to plant a rose bred for its gardens - reports the Daily Express
She said: âI am going to do the next Bond in November. I donât know the location yet but hopefully it will be somewhere nice. I canât tell you much more but I do enjoy Âplaying M as she is such a strong character. I like being bossy and my grandson thinks its cool that Iâm in Bond.â
The star, who won the best supporting actress Oscar for Shakespeare in Love in 1998, agreed to plant the first Hever Castle Rose after choosing the landmark as the perfect setting for a Visit Britain video to be screened next month.
Dame Judi, who lives near the castle, said: âItâs a wonderful place. I have lived around here for 26 years and Hever was one of the first places we came for a picnic. It is unspoilt and quintessentially English.â
