Movie novelisations to be included in John Gardner reprint series

06-Apr-2011 • Literary

A few days ago, Ian Fleming Publications announced that Orion would be republishing the late John Gardner's 14 original James Bond continuation novels starting next year (the first five novels will be released in hardback this summer by Swordfish with their original cover artwork).

Today, Simon Gardner (John's son) has confirmed that the two movie novelisations "Licence To Kill" (1989) and "GoldenEye" (1995) are also to be included in the reprinting. It will be the first time the two adventures have been reprinted since their original releases.

It follows an Amazon listing for a new "Licence To Kill" paperback that emerged yesterday and sparked some confusion. It is scheduled for release on 3rd January 2013.

Each of John Gardner's James Bond novels republished by Orion in the UK will retail for £7.99.

Thanks to `Simon` for the alert.
