Insider report reveals details on the texture and artwork for `Everything or Nothing`

26-Oct-2003 • Gaming

The latest Insider report on EA`s official "Everything or Nothing" website comes from the Redwood Shores studio in California, where lead texture artist Joe Salud reveals details on the textures in the new Bond game.

Fan artists should take note especially, as the techniques involved are performed with Adobe Photoshop and basic tools:

Joe said: "I start many textures with clouds because they `tile`. If I put a slate of clouds side-by-side, the patterns match up nicely."

"The key to making things look natural is imperfection. You never draw a straight line; instead, you offset it to make the picture look more realistic".
