Bond girl Eva Green on gender, sex scenes and selecting her roles

03-Oct-2011 • Actor News

Remembered for her role as the doomed Vesper Lynd in "Casino Royale", Eva Green is currently starring in the raunchy recreation of King Arthur's "Camelot".

In such roles, Eva confessed to act "almost like a man" and describes her character, Morgan le Temptress, as "ballsy".

"We don’t have a lot of roles like this. I don’t want to play girlfriends and love interests. It’s great to be almost like a man,” the French actress clarified.

The series required nudity and several sex scenes, which Green says are challenging for her: "If I have to do a sex scene, I feel very self conscious."

Despite this, the actress is consistently seeking interesting parts to play: "If I don’t like something, I don’t think I can even perform. A movie is from my heart, my soul".
