James Bond will sport a beard for some of 'Skyfall'

It was a story that most fans chalked up to be tabloid trash, but it appears that James Bond will indeed sport a beard for some of the next film, "Skyfall".

Daniel Craig donned the stubble during the press conference on Thursday, and some thought it to simply be a carry-over from his appearance at the "Tin Tin" premiere a few days beforehand.

However, photographs from yesterday's filming in London show Craig - in character - with the beard.

It makes sense for the production to schedule scenes with Bond's beard first, as it would otherwise require a break in principal photography while the actor grew it.
