Dame Judi Dench admits she still gets on-set nerves

12-Nov-2011 • Actor News

The stunning British star who has been in the film industry more than 50 years suggests that she feels more nervous now about certain roles and jobs than she did as a novice.

According to Contact Music Judi has "never" has confidence in her ability and always has to rely on a director.

She said: "I have worse nerves now, 54 years after entering this business, than when I started. I'm never confident about the work I do and I'm very, very reliant on a director.

"Everything I do, there's always something that jumps up and hits me in the eye."

Dench is currently reprising her role as "M" for the seventh time in Bond 23: Skyfall.
