Possible 'Skyfall' shooting at Brecon Beacons scrapped

31-Jan-2012 • Skyfall

As previously reported, permission was given last week for filming to take place at Brecon Beacons.

It was widely speculated to be the 23rd James Bond film "Skyfall" that had secured filming permission, but this press rumour was never confirmed.

Now, the BBC reports that the film company, still shrouded in mystery, has scrapped plans to shoot at the Welsh landmark.

"Logistical filming factors" have been blamed for the company pulling out.

The park authority, which had fast-tracked the planning request, said it was "incredibly disappointed".

The crew was expected to number 200 and inject more than £1m into the local economy.

Thanks to `Samuel001` for the alert.
