'Skyfall' crew capture scenes in Scotland

09-Feb-2012 • Skyfall

James Bond was in his ancestral territory this week, shooting sequences in the shadow of the mountain Buachaille Etive Mòr.

The name means, in rough translation, "the great herdsman of Etive".

Filming, according to the Daily Record two identical Aston Martin DB5s were involved in a chase along the A82 from the production's base at Glencoe's ski centre.

007 star, Daniel Craig was not spotted on location and no information has emerged to indicate that Craig was in attendance during the "Skyfall" crew's time in Scotland.

James Bond last went to Scotland during "The World Is Not Enough" for the funeral of Sir Robert King. Here, "M" established her base of operations in an abandoned castle.
