Jonathan Pryce asks for more camp humour in Bond

21-Dec-2019 • Actor News

British actor Jonathan Pryce, who played villain Elliot Carver in the 1997 film 'Tomorrow Never Dies', has weighed in on the state of the franchise.

When asked this week by Metro newspaper of he plans to watch 'No Time To Die' and who he thinks should play Bond next, the veteran actor said: "I will watch the next one. I think they're really enjoyable. I like Daniel Craig as an actor a lot."

"As to who should be the next Bond? I don't know. What I would like them to do is to put back some of that camp humour that used to be in there. Not that it's entirely missing but enough with the violence. More humour."
